Azzam is a visiting researcher at the James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow. His doctoral research focused on the properties and simulation of CFRP composites' impact behaviour in automobile engine hoods. After completing his PhD in 2015, Azzam began working on a project titled "Durability and Tensile Strength of Nanoparticle-Coated BFRP Bars Under Harsh Environments," which he is currently pursuing. Azzam's research interests include designing, manufacturing, and simulating composite structures for various applications. His work has resulted in the publication of over 35 scientific papers in various international journals and conferences.
