Prof. Mohammad Khalid Professor in Materials for Green Energy Technologies
Khalid's research focuses on the synthesis of advanced nanomaterials via energy-efficient methods, such as the microwave hydrothermal technique, and their application in energy harvesting, storage, and conversion. His work on heat transfer fluids for heating and cooling applications has achieved significant success. Khalid is the co-founder of Infinoil, a startup that has recently commercialised a graphene-based nanolubricant. He has authored over 300 peer-reviewed scientific articles, edited six books, and filed five patents. He serves on the Editorial Boards of Scientific Reports and ECS Sensor Plus. From 2020 to 2023, Khalid was recognised among the top 2% of scientists in the field of material science. He is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), U.K. Email: [email protected]
