Dr. Rudra Mukherjee is a Research Associate in Materials and Manufacturing Research Group in University of Glasgow. He received his Ph.D. and integrated master’s degree in Nanotechnology from Centre of Nanoscience and Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad, with specialization in network architecture from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Hyderabad, India. He is a recipient of Marie Curie Early Career Researcher Fellowship and Visvesvaraya MeITY Fellowship. His research areas include sustainable electronic device and module fabrication, energy harvesting devices, material and defect spectroscopy and additive manufacturing. His current work focuses on development of power management architecture for Triboelectric Nanogenerator powered electronic modules. He has more than 15 peer-reviewed publications in journals including Advanced Intelligent Systems Wiley, ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces and Advanced Materials Technologies Wiley.
