Dr. Khandelwal is a Research Associate in Materials and Manufacturing Research Group at the University of Glasgow. He completed his Ph.D. (with excellence) from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Jeju National University, South Korea, where he is a recipient of Brain Korea fellowship. He holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Nanotechnology from the Centre for Converging Technologies, U.O.R, India. He worked as Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T), Delhi, India and as a research intern in the field of "Peptide-based nanofibers" at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology (I.N.S.T), India. His current research area includes triboelectric nanogenerators, piezoelectric nanogenerators, self-powered sensors, electrospinning, nanomaterial synthesis and characterisation. Dr. Khandelwal has published more than 40 papers in highly reputed journals including Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, JMC-A, Nano Energy and so on.
