Vedanth Bhatnagar started his PhD in August 2023 with a focus on the additive manufacturing and mechanical behaviour of architected cellular materials through experimental and simulation tools. Additionally, he would be working on machine learning techniques tailored to the tyre manufacturing industry. During his Master's, Vedanth worked on the metallurgical and mechanical characterization of a novel aluminium alloy processed through laser powder bed fusion as a collaboration between the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad and the Pratt & Whitney Research & Development Center, Bangalore.
